Kevin Harlan's Drunk 49ers Fan Call on Monday Night Football is an Instant Classic

This was the one and only highlight from the shitshow they called Monday Night Football game between the San Francisco 49ers and the new edition Los Angeles Rams.  ESPN's Kevin Harlan hit the proverbial announcer's walk-off with this classic call.  You can tell my Harlan's voice this was clearly his calling.  No more basketball or football announcing.  It's all drunk people doing stupid shit from here on out.

I can just hear Harlan's voice now as I decide to hit up happy hour on Thursday.  "What is this drunk idiot doing...does he not realize he has family at home...he's too old for this shit...oh he's going for another...God have mercy on his soul...and he's passed out before midnight!"

Louisville's red chrome helmets vs FSU shouldn't be distracting at all

I'm a big fan of chrome helmets.  I love it on my cars and motorcycles so why not get it involved with college football helmets?

Louisville decided to chrome the shit out of their red helmets this week in their HUGE game vs FSU at Papa Johns Stadium.  It looks like a giant Christmas ornament.  Like Santa decided to take Louisville's helmet and shove it up Rudolph's ass and BAM!  We got ourselves a Louisville Cardinal Red Chrome helmet!

Louisville fans better hope FSU's Demarcus Walker is color blind or he's going to be targeting QB Lamar Jackson's head all day long.

Notre Dame's 5 Most Impressive Players So Far

Two games into the season I take a look at the 5 most impressive Notre Dame football players.  You will notice a theme unfortunately.

1. Deshone Kizer, QB1 - Kizer has won the starting job and the hearts of coed fans.  The redshirt sophomore has seen his stock skyrocket so high the first two games to where some mock NFL drafts have him going #1 overall.  Completing over 70% helps while only have one turnover and accounting for 9 touchdowns overall.  Kizer is the best QB in the Brian Kelly era and frankly it's not even close.  Kizer has been so good vs Texas and Nevada it's easier to remember his incompletions because there have been so few vs his great play overall.

2. Mike McGlinchey, OT - "Big Mike" has made the transition from right tackle to blind side protector flawlessly.  With big shoes to fill with the graduation of Ronnie Stanley (6th overall to Baltimore) McGlinchey has stepped in and dominated both Texas and Nevada while keeping Kizer's jersey clean.

3. CJ Sanders, WR/KR - "Little Ray" has been doing it all so far for Notre Dame this season.  Sanders ranks 4th in the nation in punt returns, averaging 25 yards per return.  With the loss of ND's 3 starting wideouts Sanders has stepped in and caught 2 big touchdowns including one in OT vs Texas.  While he may be small in stature Sanders has a very quick first step and has shown the ability to replace a guy of Will Fuller's big playmaking ability rather seamlessly.

4. Equanimeous St. Brown, WR - While his name appears to be straight out of a "Key and Peele" skit there is no laughing matter when it comes to this sophomore WR.  St. Brown leads all receivers in catches (11) and yards (160) while also catching 2 touchdown passes including this acrobatic flip vs Texas...

5. Josh Adams, RB - Nursing a bad hammy has not held back Adams from leading the team in rushing yards (160) despite only getting a combined 21 carries the first two games.  If Notre Dame is going to be able to run the ball with consistency starting this week vs Sparty they need to get Adams more carries.  He's clearly the better back over "co" starter Tarean Folston.

Matt Fairchild grew up a fan of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Baltimore Orioles, Atlanta Braves and Atlanta Falcons.  In other words he has a sports team problem on top of his drinking problem.  Displaying a loyal, never-ending-love for his teams despite their consistent struggles to return to their "glory days" only shows the insane ramblings that permeate his controversial sport writings.  Fairchild started SportsCrack.com in 2005 where you can find great t-shirts and sports merchandise.  See more of his work at UHND.  He can be reached at matt@sportscrack.com or on Twitter @sportscrack

Top 5 Plays from Week 2 in College Football 2016

5.  Arkansas' Double Reverse Pass 2 Point Conversion to Force Overtime vs TCU

This Arkansas vs TCU overtime thriller had it all and was by far the best game last week.  This Arkansas crazy double-reverse pass to the QB for the game-tying 2-point conversion was one of the those jump out of your seat moments that make college football great.

4. Clemson's Ray-Ray McCloud Drops Ball at Goal Line on Punt Return

Imagine if Clemson lost this game to Troy?  Clemson's Ray-Ray McCloud would have had death threats after this bone headed play at the goal line.

3. Auburn's Kyle Davis Makes His Freshman Presence Known With This Incredible One Handed Catch

Spiderman called and wants his gloves back.

2. Louisville's Lamar Jackson Hurdles Syracuse Defender for Touchdown

If Lamar Jackson wins the Heisman we will be looking back at this "Air Lamar" play as the catalyst for his winning campaign.

1.  Central Michigan's Game Winning Hook and Ladder Hail Mary to Beat Oklahoma State

The play that should have never happened.  Yes the Big 12 officials fucked up.  The game should have been over.  But still you can't feel bad for Oklahoma State.  Knock the damn ball down!

Heisman Watch: Week 2

Two weeks into the season and we have had some major moves within the Heisman Watch list.

1) Lamar Jackson, QB, Louisville - After a dynamic 8 touchdown performance in week 1 Jackson followed it up with 5 touchdowns vs Syracuse and over 600 total yards (411 passing, 199 rushing).  Action Jackson's electrifying performance on national television Friday night caught the eyes of the nation and the Heisman committee.  This hurdle for a TD run will be on Jackson's Heisman reel...

2) Deondre Francois, QB, FSU - While his rushing stats were pathetic (-3 yards on 6 carries) Francois made up for it with his passing (78% completion percentage with 3 TDs) in a beat down of a depleted and suspended Charleston Southern squad.  Francois will go against current #1 Heisman Watch leader Lamar Jackson this week in Louisville.  Good chance whomever gets the W in the ACC showdown will be the quarter season Heisman watch leader.

3) Deshone Kizer, QB, Notre Dame - QB1 for Notre Dame only completed 83% of his passes and accounted for 3 touchdowns in a performance vs Nevada that actually felt like a letdown only because we have to expect Kizer to be perfect.  Kizer moves up 2 spots from last week.  He will get a chance to have another primetime performance this week vs a top 10 Michigan State program under the lights in Notre Dame stadium.

4) Christian McCaffrey, RB, Stanford - Mr. Do-It-All drops one spot only because the Cardinal were off last week (seriously who schedules a BYE 2nd week of the season?).  McCaffrey will get plenty of touches vs PAC 12 rival USC this Saturday in front of the home Stanford crowd.

5) Donnel Pumphrey, RB, San Diego State - Talk about bringing back memories of Marshall Faulk in the Aztec red and black, Pumphrey went off on Cal last week rushing for 281 yards and 3 touchdowns in a big win.  With the big performance Pumphrey surpassed Faulk to become the all-time San Diego St. rushing leader.

6) Greg Ward, QB, Houston - Ward falls down 4 spots because he didn't play last week vs Lamar because of a shoulder injury.  The shoulder shows no structural damage and Ward will have a chance to move back up the list with a big primetime national television performance vs Cincinnati Thursday night.

7) Kalen Ballage, RB, Arizona State - When you score an NCAA record 8 touchdowns in a game on only 15 touches it gets you on the Heisman Watch top 10 list fast.  The junior RB was running a clinic in the "Wildcat" formation and will get another chance to pad his stats this weekend vs UTSA.

8) J.T. Barrett, QB, Ohio State - Barrett falls 4 spots from week 1 because frankly he struggled in the first 3 quarters vs Tulsa.  He didn't drop out of the top 10 because Ohio State won big (48-3) and he scored 2 touchdowns on the ground.  He will have his chance this week vs Oklahoma to have some "Heisman moments."

9) Patrick Mahomes, QB, Texas Tech - Mahomes stays at the great 8 position despite the Red Raiders losing a shootout against Arizona State.  Mahomes did all he could throwing for 540 yards and accounting for 6 touchdowns.  Granted it's early but he's on pace for 72 touchdowns.

10) Nick Chubb, RB, Georgia - No way to sugar coat Chubb and the Dawgs performance vs lowly Nicholls in a 2-point win Saturday.  Chubb goes from Heisman watch leader to hanging in the top 10 by a thread after a pedestrian 80-yard rushing performance.  Chubb and UGA will get a chance to redeem themselves this week vs Mizzou, a defense giving up over 200 yards rushing per game.

Dropped out: Deshaun Watson, QB, Clemson; Leonard Fournette, RB, LSU

Thanks to Mark Richt Miami Hurricane's Student Section Attendance Has Nearly Tripled

You can just see the excitement new head coach Mark Richt has brought back to Miami's student body!  I mean I can count at least 6 people in the student section during this Miami/FAU barn burner.  Last year you could count the student attendance on one hand so give Richt credit.  Guy knows how to sell a program.
