It's official! Da U is back!
Not only did the Hurricanes win in convincing fashion on the field Saturday night vs Virginia Tech to move to 8-0 but the fans are getting back to the old "Convicts" moniker by fighting the cops in the stands. This lovely lady obviously had one too many Hurricane drinks and needed to be escorted by mosh pit by Miami's finest when she made the mistake to throw a couple of punches at a cop. The cop did not like her swipe and abruptly knocked her ass out cold with a backhand.
So what's the verdict on this altercation?
First we got an obvious penalty on the drunk female. You can't assault an officer. It's not recommended. Second you can't strike her back like that when she is being carried by three other officers. What we have here is offsetting penalties. Replay the down.
In the meantime the undefeated Hurricanes will be hosting ESPN's College Game Day for the first time in over a decade as the #3 Notre Dame Fighting Irish visit this Saturday. The game will be in primetime on ABC. It feels like old times as we get a good old fashion "Catholics vs Convicts" game that actually means something.
